We are into an election season with (3) Commissioner Positions up for vote on July 15^th. The Save Lanier Lifestyle Committee, through extensive research, understands that to save our community’s way of life, we must have a new vision. Specifically, as it relates to the heart of our community, the Lanier Golf Club property. Please review our Vision for the Future below.

We are requesting those candidates running for office to log onto our Web Site and let us know their position in Saving the Lanier Lifestyle, by responding to the (3) questions below. We will provide the results to the  community for your review and vote consideration.

1. I WILL NOT SUPPORT the rezoning of the Lanier Golf Club property for anything other than a public or private golf club, or use as a recreational/park resource for the citizens of Forsyth County.  I AGREE  /  NO
2. I AM IN FAVOR of the Vision of Lanier Golf Club and Community Center.  I AGREE  /  NO
3. I WILL NOT SUPPORT relocation of the Mary Alice Park Public Swim & Boat Facility to Lanier Beach South area North of Buford Dam and Samples Roads.  I AGREE  /  NO
